Mrs. Lorraine Turner-Zak 51, died sunday morning November 6, 2005 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born January 1, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of Raymond & Raymonde (Asselin) Zack. Lorraine attended local schools in Detroit.
Lorraine was the coordinator for the Center Of The Arts & The Commons for Middlebury College for the last twenty six years retiring in November of 2004 due to health reasons.
Lorraine was a supporter of Americans with Disabilities Act, The American Cancer Society and The United Way.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Allen Turner whom she married on October 9, 2004 in Middlebury,also by her two daughters, Casey Turner, Radhika Root, both od Middlebury, her two sons, Jessie Turner, Pathik Root, both of Middlebury, her two sisters, Mrs. Jeanne Salkowski and Mrs. Nancy Mareel, both of Michigan, her five brothers, Michael Zack, Jerry Zack, David Zack, Patrick Zack, all of Michigan, and Robert Zack, of Oregon, also by numerous nieces & nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held on Wednesday November 9, 2005 from 3-7 P.M. at Sanderson Funeral Service in Middlebury.
Graveside services will be on Thursday November 10, 2005 at 11 AM in the North Ferrisburg Cemetery. The Rev. Johanna Nichols pstaor of the Champlain Valley Unitarian Church in Middlebury will officiate.
Lorraine would like to thank all those from Addison County Home Health & Hospice , The Doctors and support staff at the cancer center in Burlington for the tremendous loving support and care.
