Middlebury, VT Linda Lin Shafer Roberts Linda (Lin) Shafer Roberts, of Middlebury passed away unexpectedly on March 3, 2007. Lin is the daughter of William and Eva Shafer. She is survived by her parents, her husband Steve Roberts; her daughters Stevie Roberts, Tabatha Cota, Kristina Barker, her son Daniel Ballantine, her sister Stephanie Adams and brother Bill Shafer, three granddaughters, three grandsons, three nieces, and three nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Janette Shafer, brother Vincent Shafer and granddaughter Adasen Ballantine. Lin had a special love for animals and nature, especially wolves. She was the foundation for her family, with incredible strength to put herself aside to accommodate others. She is loved by so many, in our hearts always, and will be forever missed.
