All of the friends and family, in the United States, Papua New Guinea, and Vanuatu mourn the loss of their dear friend and loved one, Lincy Nauka Sullivan 34, who died unexpectedly Friday October 24, 2014 at Porter Medical Center. Lincys vibrant life began November 3, 1979 in Mount Hagen, Papua New Guinea to her birth parents George Minava and Mary George. Lincy was a hair stylist and owner of Alexandra Hair Salon in Middlebury. Lincys passions ranged from her exceptional art, photography and hairdressing skills to her marvelous focus upon her love of her children and step-children, Alexandra, Ava, Gavin and Kassidy, as well as her large family of friends. She married the love her life Mike Quinlan August 31, 2013. She is survived by her husband Mike Quinlan of Panton, by her parents, Bill Sullivan of Starksboro and Marilyn Barbato of Hollywood, FL, by her daughters, Alexandra Dorce and Ava Quinlan both of Panton, by her step children, Gavin Quinlan and Kassidy Quinlan both of Panton, by her sister Anne Sullivan of Middlebury and her partner John Lincoln, and other relatives in Papua New Guinea. The members of her family and friends wish to invite everyone to a celebration of her life and accomplishments at the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home, 117 South Main Street, Middlebury on Tuesday October 28, 2014 from 5-8 P.M. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday October 29, 2014 at 1:30 P.M., at St. Stephens Episcopal Church Middlebury. The Rev. Susan McGarry will officiate.
