Leon J. Quesnel of Middlebury, passed away of natural causes October 22, 2007. He was born in Bridport, VT., on June 16, 1922, where he also attended school. He married Fernande Faubert in 1943 in St. Marys Catholic Church. He is survived by his daughters, Annette Quesnel of Warren, VT and Yvonne Riley and her husband, Vernon of East Middlebury, VT; also by his son, Leo Quesnel of VT. Leon had 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife, Fernande, his parents, Odilon and Mary, and his granddaughter Yvette Durfee. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday October 25 at 10O Clock at St. Marys Catholic Church. The Rev. John McDermott will officiate. A graveside committal service and interment will follow in St. Genevieves Cemetery in Shoreham. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sanderson Funeral Service. www.sandersonfuneralservice.com
