SALISBURY- Kathy J. Houle, 44, of 2121 Leland Rd., died suddenly April 2, 2008 at Fletcher Allen Healthcare, Burlington, following open heart surgery.
Born in Middlebury January 2, 1964 , she was the daughter of Rejean E. and Arlene A. (Whitney) Morin.
Kathy was a caregiver with Happy Hearts Home Care and had recently been employed by Middlebury College.
She enjoyed gardening, sewing and her pets.
Family members in addition to her parents of Middlebury include her husband, John R. Houle of Salisbury, one son, Joshua M. Giard and his companion, Carol Bushey of Bridport; two step-sons, Logan J. Houle and his companion Erin Quesnel of Burlington;and Devin R. Houle of Castleton; one sister, Joyce A. Dupoise and her husband, Craig of Salisbury; four brothers, Oral P. Morin and his companion Marion of Middlebury, David P. Morin and his wife Laurie of Salisbury, Jan P. Morin and his wife Sherry of Crown Point, NY and Robert P. Morin and his wife Heather of Salisbury; her grandson, Aaron M. Girard of Bridport, her aunt Robin Jackson of Middlebury; aunts and uncles; her best friend, Kim Fallon and her son Wyath of Middlebury; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her son, Abraham J. Seeley in 2007 and her brother Ricki P. Morin in 2006.
Calling hours will be Friday, April 4, 2008 from 6-8 PM at Sanderson Funeral Service, 117 South Main St., Middlebury. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 AM Saturday in West Salisbury Cemetery with Rev. Justin Baker, pastor of St. Marys Church officiating.
