Joshua Paul Page Clapper 22, of Middlebury passed away on November 22, 2012 at Fletcher Allen Hospital following a brief illness. Joshua was born on July 22, 1990 in Burlington, VT the son of Paul and Cara (Page) Clapper. He is a graduate of Middlebury High School where he attained high honors and honor roll every marking period and was active in the Choir. He was a volunteer for the Meals on Wheels through United Way; he also worked for Middlebury College as a meal checker at their dining hall. He was a very loving and affectionate young man who always smiled. He enjoyed watching the FOOD Network and had aspirations of becoming a Chef someday. He enjoyed watching Wrestling, PBS kids shows, game shows, collecting and using calculators, eating at local restaurants, going to Zacharys in South Burlington to play games but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his father and sister. He is survived by his father Paul Clapper of Middlebury, his sister Heather Clapper of Middlebury, his paternal grandmother Alice Clapper of Bristol, his aunt Donna Jewell and her husband Pete of Bristol, his uncles; Wallace Clapper and his wife Sandra of St. George, Bruce Clapper and his wife Melissa of Clinton, CT. He is survived by his aunts Virginia Page of Branford, CT and Donna Page of East Haven, CT. He is also survived by his special friend Kim Kelley. He was predeceased by his mother, Cara (Page) Clapper, his grandfathers Frank Page and Donald Clapper and his grandmother Shirley Page. He was also predeceased by his uncle Steve Clapper. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 28, 2012 at 4 P.M. at Sanderson Ducharme Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 2 P.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be private.
