Obituary

Joseph J. Pendrok 95, formerly of South Windsor CT, died Thursday morning February 19, 2015 at Helen Porter Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. Born June 25, 1919 in Glastonbury, CT the son of the late John and Julia (Zesut) Pendrok. He was a United States Army Veteran serving during WWII with the Military Police from 1941 to 1945 obtaining the rank of Corporal. Joseph Married his wife Eleanor C. Larsen in 1944 and they had celebrated 61 years of marriage. She predeceased him on July 11, 2005. He lived in South Windsor, CT since 1956 working as a Machinist for Emhart Corp. in Berlin, CT for 42 years. Joseph moved to Vermont in 2007 to be closer to his family. Joseph enjoyed gardening, woodworking and his chickens. He is survived by his son, George Pendrok and his companion Kathy Webb of Addison and Carol Martin of Addison, by his grandson Joseph Martin also of Addison. There will be no services at this time. Graveside services will be held at a later date and at the convenience of the family in Connecticut Arrangements are under the direction of the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home.
