Joseph "Mike" Andronaco

Age 82 | Resident of Vergennes Vermont

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Joseph "Mike" Andronaco, who died peacefully on September 29, 2025, at the age of 82. A longtime resident of Essex, Vermont, Mike will be remembered for his passion for golf, wrestling, and football, his sense of humor, and his contagious "Andronaco laugh." He was perhaps at his very best as "Coach A," encouraging generations of young athletes through the years with heart and gusto. Mike is survived by his daughter, Emy Adams, and her husband Chris Adams, and their children Danielle, Meghan, Michael, and John Adams; his daughter, Sarah Andronaco, and her partner, Lisa Gwozdz, and their children, Jack and Ella Ahrens; and his son, Lou Andronaco, and his wife, Lindsay Andronaco, and their children, Anthony, Julianna and Mason Andronaco.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring, when his family can honor his passion of golf with a friendly tournament. All who knew and loved Mike are welcome to join in honoring his memory; details on this will be communicated in the spring. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly invites you to make a donation to the Northern Vermont Wrestling Club, where he spent over 25 years as a volunteer coach.
