John S. McLaughlin, 71, of Leicester, VT passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 in Middlebury, VT. He was born August 6, 1945 in Boston, MA the son of J Karl and Shirley (Drake) McLaughlin. John was a proud veteran of the United States Army and honorably served his Country in Vietnam, August 1967 through August 1968. He was a graduate of Cornell University with a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is survived by his sons Mark, Peter, and Christopher McLaughlin, brother Hugh McLaughlin of Groton, MA, and sister Kathryn McLaughlin Montgomery of Costa Mesa, CA.
