John C. Desforges John C. Desforges 72, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 19, 2009 at Fletcher Allen Health Care, Fanny Allen Campus. He was born on February 6, 1937 in Sudbury, VT he was the son of the late Leo P. and Yvette Marie (LaRocque) Desforges. John attened Brandon High School. He served in the Army National Guard during the Berlin Crisis. He loved spending time with family and friends, he enjoyed spending every Saturday with his brothers, and was an avid card player. John loved his travels to Florida with his wife, Carmen. John Married Carmen Audet on April 20, 1985 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Middlebury. He is survived by his wife Carmen (Audet) Desforges, his brothers Robert J. Desforges of Sudbury, Roland J. Desforges and his wife Jaska of Sudbury, Raymond J. Desforges and his wife Sharon of Sudbury, and Patrick Paul Desforges and his wife Beverly of Sudbury. His sisters Shirley Plouffe and husband Aldee of Bridport, Yolande Larson and husband Robert of Charlotte, two Aunts Yvette and Lucille Desforges of Canada, numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 am on Monday March 23, 2009 at St. Marys Catholic Church with the Rev. William Beaudin celebrant. There are no public calling hours.
