Joanne Cousineau, age 63, of New Haven, VT passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017. She was born in Middlebury, VT the daughter of Romeo and Colombe (Gevry) Cousineau. Joanne spent a great deal of her life as a child care provider and was fondly thought of as a "mother" figure to so many who knew her. She was a steadfast supporter of her family and friends, an avid volunteer and a crafter and teacher at CREATE Art and Craft Studio. Joanne is survived by her children, Andrea, Cholena, Kyle, Valerie, and Daniel; grandchildren, Mercedes, Nathanael, Kylee, Audra, Harper, and Mahalia. A funeral service will be held at St. Marys Church in Middlebury on Saturday, May 6th at 11am. A gathering for Joanne will immediately follow the service at Sanderson Funeral Home, 117 South Main St., Middlebury, VT 05753 from 12 noon to 1pm.
