Jeffrey T. Demars died suddenly March 21, 2012.
He was born December 19, 1968 in Beverly, M.A. the son of Shelley Cooke and John Demars.
Jeffrey was a graduate of Newburyport High School class of 1987. He attended Vermont Technical College in Randolph, VT.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, the outdoors and was an avid New England Patriots and Boston Celtics fan; he also enjoyed the ocean and spending time with his family.
He was the proud owner of Demars Family Dairy in Bridport for twelve years and then became a self employed General Contractor.
He is survived by his wife Mary (Roorda) Demars who he married June 25, 1988 in Vergennes. By his mother, of Newburyport, M.A., by his father, of Boxford, M.A., by his children, Kimberly Demars and her companion Eric Highter, of Middlebury and Thomas Demars, of Ripton and his companion Glory Stark-Rinder, of Middlebury, by his sister, Tracey Demars and her fianc Brian Smith, of Edgartown, M.A.. Also by several aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins. He will be sorely missed by his loving family.
Friends may call on Tuesday March 27, 2012 from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home, located at 117 South Main Street, Middlebury.
A private burial will be held on Wednesday March 28, 2012. After which the family will receive friends to call at their home at 21 Murray Lane in Ripton after 1 P.M.
Memorial contributions may be made to the non-profit organization to preserve the 4000 acre barrier reef and refuge of Plum Island at Friends of the Parker River National Wildlife Foundation, 6 Plum Island Turnpike, Newburyport, MA 01950.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home.
