CORNWALL - Jeanne Gingras, nee Jean-Ann Whipple, a lifelong resident of Vermont, died the morning of Sunday, November 2, 2008. She is survived by her children, Jennifer Gingras Campanile of Alexandria, Va., Christopher Gingras of Rutland, and by their father, Gary Gingras of Atlanta, Ga. She leaves behind, as well, a lifetime of friends and the family around which she built her life: Her father, Jack Whipple, and his wife, Marie, of Middlebury; Joy and Butch Smith of Brandon and their children, Zoe and Jackson Smith; Stephen and Heidi Whipple of Middlebury and Steve's children, Amy Sweet and Rob Whipple; and Barbara Whipple and her daughter, Ashley Morcombe, of Brandon. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 8, at the Cornwall Congregational Church on Route 30. Flowers are welcome; if you would like to make a donation in Jeanne's honor, the family requests support for the Middlebury Volunteer Ambulance Association.
