Janice M. Connors, 70 died Saturday morning, May 26, 2007 at Helen Porter Nursing Home after a short illness. She was born January 25, 1937 in Manchester, VT the daughter of the late Norman & Lillian (McVinney) Hebert. Janice worked for many years as the executive Secretary at Porter Medical Center. She was an avid gardener and reader; she loved life and enjoyed knitting, and working on crossword puzzles. Janice's special love was caring for her beloved animals, Sasha, Dolly Frankie and Ellie. She is survived by her daughter, Shelly Stacey, of Rutland, by her two sons, Stephen T. Cameron & his wife Robin, of Rutland, Mark A. Cameron and his companion Maureen, of Dorset,her five grandchildren, and also by her many close friends who stayed by her side during this difficult time. Janice was predeceased by her parents and also by her husband, David Connors who died in 1994. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at Sanderson Funeral Service, 117 South Main Street, Middlebury. Burial will follow in West Salisbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Addison County Humane Society at 236 Boardman Rd, Middlebury, VT 05753. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sanderson Funeral Service.
