James C. Doolan, 54, of Vergennes, died suddenly at home, May 16, 2023. He was born July 10, 1968 in Middlebury to James and Barbara (Goodge) Doolan. Jimmy was a graduate of Middlebury Union High School, class of 1988. He was lucky to discover work he loved auto glass repair and went on to start his own repair business. Jimmy illuminated the world with his smile, sense of humor and kind heart. He enjoyed nature and spending time at his camp on Otter Creek. He often captured its beauty in photographs and videos. He enjoyed boating, swimming and hunting anything that kept him out in the natural world. Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife, Lori; his sons, Seamus and Liam, and daughter, Katie; his father and mom, James and Kay Doolan; his siblings: Chris, Peter, Sean, Colin, Shannon, Troy, Lisa, Julie, and Kim; in addition to a large extended family. He was predeceased by a sister, Jennifer Doolan. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home.
