Ripton Jacqueline I. Jackson, 41, died May 24 2006, in Ripton. Jackie was born March 1, 1965 to Ralph and Linda (Payne) White in Middlebury. She was a 1984 graduate of Middlebury High School and continued her education at Norwich University and recently was enrolled in the University of Phoenix, AZ. She was employed by the Vermont State Department of Corrections. She was very involved in the community of Ripton, helping and volunteering in many ways. She is survived by her husband Kevin M. Jackson Sr. whom she married October 18, 1987 in Addison, VT. Also by her father Ralph and step-mother Patricia White of Bristol. Her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Homer and Geraldine Jackson of Ripton. Her son, Kevin M. Jackson Jr., of Ripton. Her three daughters, Heather L. Jackson of Vergennes, Katie L. Jackson, of Bridport, Jennifer E. Jackson of Ripton. Her sister, Elizabeth Roy and her husband Jacob, of Orwell. Her two brothers, Kevin White of Glen Dale, AZ, and Dan Cox of Bristol. Also by several aunts and uncles, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Also by her best friend Rhonda Nichols. A memorial service will be celebrated on Sunday, May 28, 2006 at 1pm at 555 Maiden Lane in Ripton there will be road signs to the site of the memorial service. Private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may by made to WomenSafe Inc., P.O. Box 67, Middlebury, VT.
