Howard W. Lancour, 70, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at his home in Cornwall. Born in Rutland December 1, 1943, he was the son of the late Leo J. and Dorothy (Wilder) Lancour. Howard had worked for GE of Rutland and more recently for Maple Landmark of Middlebury when he retired due to health issues. He honorably served his country in the United Sates Air Force during the Viet Nam era. He had several hobbies including guns, fireworks, CBs, motorcycles and building model cars. Surviving family members include his wife, Donna Dalley of Cornwall; one daughter, Brenda Lancour and her significant other Bruce Pellestri of Clarendon; one step daughter, Cindy Marcelle of Essex Juction and two step sons, Kenneth Dalley of Cornwall and Michael Dalley of FL. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 PM Thursday, May 8, 2014 at St. Joseph Cemetery, Stratton Rd., Rutland.
