Helen Baldwin Middlebury- Helen I. Baldwin, 97, most recently of Porter Drive, died Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at Helen Porter Healthcare. Born in Weybridge, VT June 11, 1910, she was the daughter of William and Eva (Heir) Baldwin. Helen was a graduate of Middlebury High School and was a member of St. Mary Church. She was a legal secretary for Attorney Phyllis Armstrong prior to her retirement. Helen enjoyed NASCAR. Survivors include two nieces, Phyllis Pelland and Beatrice Grant, Both of Rutland and caring staff at Helen Porter Healthcare. She was predeceased by her sister, Evelyn Baldwin in 2000. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Friday at St. Mary Church with Rev. Justin Baker, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Sanderson Funeral Service, 117 South Main St., Middlebury.
