Panton, VT Grace E. Edney Grace E. Edney 88, died Thursday evening June 27, 2019 at Helen Porter Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Middlebury after a period of failing health. She was born October 22, 1930 in Lowell, Vt the daughter of Clifton I. Longley Sr. and Elizabeth L. (Emery) Longley. Grace enjoyed puzzles, knitting and crocheting and was a member of the North Ferrisburg United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter Pearl L. Bullard & husband Dewey Bullard of Brockton, MA, by her son Andrew T. Edney & Wife Barbara Edney of St. Albans,Vt. Her brother Emery Longley of Hardwick, VT, by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Grace was predeceased by her husband Francis Edney, her son Dennis M. Edney, daughters Sarah A. Putnam, Andrea May Martin and Marion M. Edney. By her brothers Graydon N.D. Longley, Clifton Longley Jr., Leroy A. Longley and her sister Beverly Norton. Funeral services will be held on July 6th at 2:00 PM at Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home , located at 117 South Main street, Middlebury with the Rev. Kim Hornung-Marcy officiating. Visiting hours will be from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Private burial will be in Kinsman Cemetery in Easton, NH.
