Wallingford, VT Gloria Gerry Mrs. Gloria J. Gerry, 52, of Hartsboro Rd. and formerly of Middlebury, died as the result of a car accident Friday afternoon June 20, 2008. Born December 19, 1955 in Williamstown, MA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Hall and Virginia (Coulter) Hall. Gloria was a graduate of Vergennes High School. She was an LNA and operated Little Tykes Daycare in Middlebury for several years. She was a very caring person, always putting others first, and especially caring for her beloved family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and offered opportunity to needy animals. She was a member of the Wallingford Baptist Church and was a former member of Memorial Baptist Church of Middlebury. Family members include her husband, Harry J. Gerry of Wallingford whom she married February 29, 2000; eight sons, Todd M. Gobbi and his fianc, Tara of Tallahassee , FL, Christopher J. Gobbi and his wife Allison of Mendham, NJ, Gregory A. Gillett and his wife Melissa of East Middlebury, Brayton W. Gillett and his fianc, Bridget of Brandon, Justin R. Gillett and his wife Virginia of Weybridge, Bruce E. Gillett of Springfield, Charles W. Gerry and his wife Megan of Burlington, Timothy W. Gerry and his wife Toni of Wallingford; two daughters, Marci Gillett and her husband Tom of Plattsburgh, NY, and Jessalynn J. Gillett and her partner Matthew Taracello of Brandon; her mother of New Haven; two brothers, Douglass Hall of Salem, NY and Mark Hall of New Haven ; one sister, Donna Payne of Cornwall; nine grandchildren, Christopher, Ayana, Shannon, Jackson, Nevaya, Natalie, Tristan, Wyatt, and Dakota, nieces and nephews and many dear friends including, Brenda and Steve New of Ballston Spa, NY and Eugene and Judy Charlebois of Addison. Calling hours are Tuesday, June 24, 2008 from 6-8 PM at Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home, 117 South Main St., Middlebury. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Wednesday in the funeral home with Rev. Steve Jewitt, pastor of Memorial Baptist Church, Middlebury officiating.
