Mrs. Gertrude Kennison Mrs. Gertrude Kennison, 83, died Saturday morning, November 19, 2005 at Helen Porter Health Care & Rehabilitation Center in Middlebury after a long illness. Gertrude was born November 9, 1922 in Starksboro, VT the daughter of the late Ivor & Florence Kennison. She attended the University Of Vermont and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Education. Gertrude was a Teacher having taught in Irasburg, Salisbury and Middlebury schools. She is survived by her daughter Wanda Kennison, of Springfield, MA, Her two sons, Mr. Eric Kennison, of East Middlebury and Mr. Bradley Kennison and his wife Sandy and there daughter Heather, all of Monson, Ma. She was predeceased by her husband, Mr. Harlan Kennison whom she married December of 1946 and also by three brothers. Funeral services will be held on Monday November 21, 2005 at 3 Pm at the Sanderson Funeral Home. The Rev John Grivetti Pastor of the Salisbury Congregational Church will officiate. Visiting Hours will be on Monday November 21, 2005 from 2 Pm to 2:45 Pm Prior to the service at 3 Pm.
