Weybridge, VT Mrs. Geraldine S. Beecy Mrs. Geraldine Beecy, 84, died November 10, 2005 at her residence after a short illness. She was born November 20, 1920 in Reading Ma, the daughter of the late Walter & Marie (Honekamp) Barton. Geraldine was a 1938 graduate of Wilmington High School in Wilmington Ma. Geraldine provided home child care in her home for over 19 years while residing in Pelham NH. Then she and her husband moved to Vermont where she had made her residence for the last thirty three years. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church and also a Member of the Catholic Daughters of America and attended the Middlebury Senior Citizens Luncheons on a regular basis. Geraldine is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Gail Smith, Of Weybridge, and Mrs. Geraldine Patton, of Worden Ill. Her two sons, Mr. William Beecy, of Vergennes, and Mr. Bernard Beecy, of Blytheville, AR by her fifteen Grandchildren, and by her twenty two Great Grandchildren., and by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her Husband Mr. William L Beecy whom she married February 16, 1941 in Bedford, Ma. Also by her Sister Florence Kane, and her four brothers Walter, Joseph, Albert and Bernard Barton. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday November 12, 2005 at 11 AM at St. Marys Catholic Church in Middlebury the Rev. Justin Baker, Parish Priest will officiate. Visiting hours will be on Friday November 11, 2005 from 5-7 P.M. And also on Saturday November 12, 2005 from 10 Am till 10:40 Am. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery. Memorial Contributions in memory of Geraldine may be made to St. Marys Catholic Church at 326 College St. Middlebury, VT 05753 Arrangements have been entrusted to Sanderson Funeral Service, of Middlebury.
