Cornwall, VT George D. Parker
Mr. George D. Parker, 84, died early Wednesday morning November 30, 2005 at Helen Porter nursing home in Middlebury after a brief illness.
He was born September 12, 1921 in Chippenhook the son of the late Elmer E. & Viola (Fuller) Parker. He grew up in Chippenhook where attended elementary school.
George spent his life helping on the family farm. He lived with his brother Carl, for twenty years then came to Cornwall to live with his sister and brother-in-law, Helen & Jack Whipple. His last five years were spent with his nephew and niece, Stephen & Heidi Whipple.
He attended Project Independence in Middlebury and enjoyed an occasional day trip and lunch with Dave Rosen from Community Associates. He enjoyed helping his special nephew and friend, Robert Whipple with the cows and calves at the farm.
He is survived by his brother-in-law Jack Whipple & wife Marie, of Middlebury, his nieces, Jean Gingras, Joy Smith & Husband Warren, Barbara Whipple and Sharron Colton. And by his nephews Stephen Whipple & his wife Heidi and Wayne Parker. Also by his great nieces & Nephews.
A Memorial service with be held on Saturday December 3, 2005 at 2 PM at the Sanderson Funeral Home, in Middlebury.
