Middlebury, VT Frank A. Leggett Sr. Frank A. Leggett Sr. 74, died Thursday morning June 8, 2006, at Helen Porter Nursing Home. He was born June 18, 1931 in Middlebury the son of the late Robert & Anita (Stowe) Leggett. Frank was a veteran having served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion post # 49 of Middlebury & the V.F.W. post # 7823 of Middlebury. He was employed for many years at Craft Foods as a cheese maker. He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Gould) Leggett, of Middlebury, his five children, Frank A Leggett Jr. & his wife Roberta, of Lincoln, Joanne Prior & her husband Dave, of Cornwall, Lynn Spence & her husband Mike, of Appleton, WI, Charlotte Deering & her husband Tim, of Shoreham, George Leggett & his wife Arthea, of Middlebury. His eleven grandchildren, his nine great-grandchildren, his brother, Robert Leggett, of Middlebury, his two sisters, Shirley LaMothe, of Middlebury, Jean Payne, of Middlebury. And also by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and by his brother George Leggett, and by his sisters, Charlotte Hurlbert and Helen Pratico. A graveside service will be conducted on Sunday June 11, 2006 at 2 PM in Prospect cemetery in East. Middlebury.
