Salisbury Francis Norman Blake
Francis N. Blake 78, died early Wednesday morning November 26, 2014 at the University Of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.
Born October 27, 1936 in Canaan, NH, and was raised by his adoptive parents.
Francis was a lifelong farmer enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, N.A.S.C.A.R. , tractor pulls, Demolition Derbies and never missed watching his sons Brian and Norman and grandson Lil Brian in the heats. He also enjoyed attending Project Independence.
Survivors are his children, Darlene Field and husband Arthur of Bridport, Bonita Litchfield of Brandon, Kathy Griffin and husband David of Brandon, Norman Blake of Dummerston, VT , Charlene Blake of Indiana, Brian Blake and wife Wendy of Salisbury and Sherry Bell and husband George of Joplin, MO and by 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 2, 2014 at 12:30 P.M. at the Salisbury Congregational Church with the Rev. John Grivetti officiating. Visiting hours will be held at the church from 10 A.M. until noon.
Burial will follow in West Side Cemetery in Salisbury.
