East Middlebury, VT Mrs. Frances G. Brown Mrs. Frances G. Brown, 96, of East Middlebury, VT, passed away January 30, 2007 at Shard Villa, Salisbury, Vermont. Born in Cambridge, NY the daughter of Nicholas and Anna (Blanchfield) Gough, she moved to East Middlebury in 1936. She was the widow of Floyd Brown who died in 1965. She was a member of St. Marys Church, worked for many years as the bookkeeper for the Brown Novelty Company and was a long time volunteer as a Grey Lady with Porter Hospital. She is survived by her son, John (Jack) Brown and his wife, Margot of East Middlebury, her daughter, Sandra Fusaro and her husband, Joseph, of Scranton, PA, four grandchildren, Christopher Brown of Monkton, VT., Melissa Brown of East Middlebury, Marc Fusaro of Greenville, NC., and Scott Fusaro of Gainesville, FL., two great-grandsons, one sister, Loretta Stevens of West Seneca, NY and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Beatrice Cirasunda. Fran lived a long and active life sustained by her faith and the love of her family and friends and will be greatly missed. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 2, 2007 from 7 to 8:30 PM at the Sanderson Funeral Home at 117 South Main Street, Middlebury, Vermont. Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 3, 2007 at 11 AM at St. Marys Catholic Church in Middlebury. The Rev. Justin Baker will officiate. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery in East Middlebury. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Addison County Humane Society, Boardman St., Middlebury, Vermont 05753.
