Faith Angier
Middlebury-Faith E. (Bingham) Huestis Angier, 91, died Friday, October 10, 2014 surrounded by her family at her home in the Middlebury Commons.
Born in Shoreham, VT July 17, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Bernice (Delphia) Bingham.
Faith graduated from Shoreham High School in 1942. She married Howard I. Huestis on February 19, 1944 who predeceased her in November, 1968. She later married Carl J. Angier in July 1976 who also predeceased her.
For many years Faith was a cook at Bridport Central School as well as tending to many families in the area. After her retirement and move to Middlebury, she volunteered at Porter Hospital and for more than 20 years for the RSVP program. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She lived at Middlebury Commons for more than 20 years and enjoyed the many friends she made there.
Surviving family members include three children; Stephen H. Huestis and his wife Sheila of Bridport, Judith H. Peck and her husband David of Rotterdam Junction, NY and Marc E. Huestis and his wife Pamela of Cornwall, NY; a daughter-in-law Judy Huestis of Colchester;nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews . Faith is also survived by Kathy, Jim and Mark Angier and their families.
In addition to her husbands, Faith was predeceased by her son, Lynn C. Huestis.
The family would like to express deep gratitude for the care given to their mother by Addison County Home Health and Hospice Care during her illness.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 PM Saturday, October 25, 2014 at St. Genevieves Cemetery, Shoreham with a celebration of her life immediately following at St. Bernadettes Parish Hall, Bridport.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Addison County Home Health and Hospice, P.O. Box 754, Middlebury, VT 05753.
