Mona M. Austin, 76, died Tuesday, December 27, 2011 surrounded by family after a brief illness. She was born February 3, 1935 in Duxbury, VT the daughter of Ermont Lawrence and Bernice Downing. Mona owned and operated a beauty shop and also worked for several years as the office manager for Ronald Dellamore D.D.S. She was a member of the East Middlebury United Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling, reading, spending time with family and friends, playing cards, going for rides, and going out to eat. She is survived by her mother Bernice White of Waterbury,VT, and her children, Loran McNally and his wife Darlene of Salisbury and Lorraine Kenyon and her husband David of Salisbury, her brothers, Berton White and his wife Patty of Ascutney, VT, David White and Richard White and his wife Anne of Waterbury; her sisters, Margaret Corriveau and her husband Earl of Litchfield, NH, Mary White of Montpelier, Gloria Mayo of Montpelier and Theresa King and her husband James of Waterbury; her four grandchildren, Karla Landry and her husband Ryan of Rindge, NH, Ryan Kenyon of Salisbury, Tyler McNally and Sammi McNally both of Salisbury; her great grandchild Reese Landry of Rindge, NH and also by numerous nieces, nephews, and many close friends. She was predeceased by her husband Buck Austin and also the father of her children Cleon McNally. The family will have a private service in the Spring. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Addison County Home Health & Hospice at P.O. Box 754, Middlebury, VT 05753 or to a charity of ones choice. Arrangements are under the direction of the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home, 117 S. Main St., Middlebury.
