Obituary

She graduated in the class of 1942. This is where she met and married the love her life Ronnie Holmes. Their relationship fostered 3 small children, and was expecting another, when one day she received the tragic news that her Ronnie had been suddenly killed in a construction accident. Although devastated and with limited means she continued on with one thought; her children. Ellie was fortunate enough to meet Robert Young (Bob.) She enjoyed Tuesday night leagues with the girls, Betty, Peggy, Nellie, and Doris. Bowling for Ga Ra Machine Company. She loved to read, and over the years loved so many of her dogs, Inga, Chipper, Teddy, and Prince. She did not like to cook but was a fantastic cook. Her large and well attended holiday family meals and deserts were incredible, cherry supreme pie, and oh, those cookies. Ellies achievements were many, but if you asked her she would say without a doubt it was her children. They meant the world to her and her love, compassion, and caring for them, even as adults was unending. Always willing to help, always there to listen.
