Edgar J. Lamoureux II, 44, died unexpectedly Sunday morning, September 25, 2011 at Porter Medical Center, Middlebury Born in Middlebury July 20, 1967, he was the son of Edgar J. and Gloria (Durkee) Lamoureux. Edgar was a graduate of Middlebury Union High School, class of 1985 where he played varsity football. He enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, and camping and was an avid New England Patriots fan. He married his wife Arlene (Lovely) Lamoureux in Shoreham on July 10, 1999. Surviving family members include his wife Arlene of Orwell; his parents; Edgar and Gloria Lamoureux of Cornwall; sons, William Brown and his wife Sue of Brandon, Edgar Lamoureux, III, Evan Lamoureux and Aaron Lamoureux, all of Virginia Beach, VA; one daughter, Sylvia Siegel and her husband, Eric of Shaftsbury, VT; one sister, Lisa Lamoureux and her son Alex of Brandon; grandchildren, Ashley Brown, Joshua Siegel, Caitlyn Siegel and Sarah Siegel; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday evening September 29, 2011 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home, 117 South Main Street Middlebury. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday September 30, 2011 at 10 A.M. at St. Marys Catholic Church, Middlebury with the Rev. William R. Beaudin, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Genevieves Cemetery Shoreham.
