DAVID REISING CORNWALL- David K. Reising, 61, a resident of Cornwall for the past 8 years, died Sunday, December 28, 2014 at his home. Born January 23, 1953 in New Haven, CT, he was the son of the late Robert Reising and Gloria (DeMichael) Reising. He was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School, class of 1971. Prior to living here he was a resident of Goshen, CT. David was an artificial inseminator with Genex Cooperative, Inc. for 25 years. He was the proud past president and secretary of Goshen Agricultural Society, Goshen, CT, was past president of the Goshen Lions Club and was a catechism teacher at St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church in Goshen. He also was an advocate and sponsor for the Houstonic and Wamogo Chapters of the Future Farmers of America and the Litchfield County 4-H. Surviving family members include his wife, Sharon M. Reising of Cornwall; his mother Gloria Reising of Winter Haven, FL ; his sons, Neil T. Reising of Torrington, CT and Sean R. Reising of Cornwall; his daughters, Paige A. Perrin and her husband Adam of Washington, CT, and Katelynn M. Bennett and her husband John of Bantam, CT; two brothers, Joseph Reising and his wife Ellen of Vero Beach, FL and Gary Reising and his wife Cindy of Winter Haven, FL; one sister, Karen Evans and her husband James of Greensboro, NC; two grandsons, Luke D. Reising and Wyatt T. Perrin. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Friday, January 2, 2015 at Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home, 117 S. Main St. Middlebury. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday, January 3, 2015 at St. Agnes Church, Leicester Junction with the Rev. Ruel Tumanglay, pastor, as celebrant.
