David E. Farr 76, died September 3, 2016 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.
He was born April 3, 1940 in Middlebury, the son of Eugene and Beatrice (Wood) Farr.
David was a graduate of Shoreham High School class of 1958 and enlisted in the United States Army.
He married Marilyn Andrews on August 13, 1974.
David had worked as a mechanic for many years for Foster Motors in Middlebury retiring in 2005. He took a part time job at Number One Auto delivering auto parts around the Middlebury area.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, four wheelers and was an avid Cribbage Player. He was a member of the N.R.A.
Survivors are his wife Marilyn (Andrews) Farr of Middlebury, his children, Randall Farr of Middlebury and Wendy McNally (Adam) of Fairport, NY , by his step son Chris Bradley Sr., of Clayton, N.C., by his sister Frances Lavoie of Littleton, NH, his grandchildren, Jonathan Farr, Dustin Farr, Keegan Farr, Nick McNally, Owen McNally, Chis Bradley Jr., and Alix Bradley, also by numerous nephews.
He was predeceased by his step daughter Kathy Bradley.
Graveside services will be held in the Vermont Veterans Cemetery in Randolph, Vt on Wednesday September 14, 2016 at 11 A.M.
