East Middlebury - Darlene LaFountain Darlene LaFountain 65, died Friday January 15, 2016 at Helen Porter Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center after a year long battle with brain cancer. She was born August 17, 1950 in Auburn, NY the daughter of William D. and Edna L. (Brock) Clarkson. Darlene work for many years in the area as a housekeeper and retired from Swift House Inn, she enjoyed gardening and cooking. Survivors are her husband Michael Freeman of East Middlebury and her daughter Toni LaFountain. Also by several brothers and sisters. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday January 21, 2016 at 11 A.M. at the East Middlebury United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Robert Bushman officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall. Memorial contributions may be made to the Addison County Home Health and Hospice at P.O.
