DANIEL REYNOLDS BRIDPORT- Daniel Walter Reynolds, 36, died accidentally in Bridport on Friday, September 6, 2013. Born in Wakefield, RI November 22, 1976, he is the son of Richard H. and Joanne C. (Kenney) Reynolds. Dan was a graduate of Middlebury Union High School, class of 1994. Following high school he attended a technical school for mechanics in Denver, CO. He was employed by Cabot Agrimark, Inc. of Middlebury and had previously been employed by the Audet Familys Blue Spruce Farm and Hawk Creek Fence Co. Since a very young age he has always shown a definite and knowledgeable interest in tractors, his favorite being the John Deere. Dan was a member of Vermont Tractor Pullers Association. He grew up on a farm where he enjoyed doing field work and showed an uncanny ability for fixing anything from a young age. Dan was actively involved in tractor pulling competitions including Addison County Field Days and several New York fairs. In addition he co-managed the Essex County Fair Tractor Pull for several years. He was a proud Red Sox fan, an avid hunter and in high demand for his pig roasting abilities. Dan lived a full life, was very loving to his family and a very dedicated friend to many, always ready to lend a helping hand. Surviving family members include his parents of Little Falls, NY; his sister, Sarah A. Reynolds of Astoria, NY; several aunts, uncles, cousins and two great uncles, Fred Kenney of Hope Valley, RI and Arthur Trainer. He was predeceased by his grandparents and several special family members and friends. Calling hours will be Tuesday, September 10, 2013 from 4-7 PM at Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home, 117 South Main St., Middlebury. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 PM Wednesday at Bridport Central Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Franklin, pastor of Bridport Congregational Church officiating.
