Kip Clifford J. Valley SHOREHAM- Kip Clifford J. Valley, 77, of VT Route 22A, died Monday, July 17, 2006 at his home following a sudden illness. Born in Brookfield, MA June 9, 1929, he was the son of the late Auguste P. and Leahbelle (Hall) Valley. A resident of Shoreham since the age of 15 he married Joanne Dudley on September 28,1950. He was an auto mechanic and operated his own business, Valleys Garage. He loved cars of all kinds. He was always quick to tell an amusing story of times gone by and always wanted the best for the people he loved. A good, honest, hardworking man, he was always willing to lend a hand without expecting anything in return. He was a 30 year member of the Shoreham Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of the Shoreham Congregational Church. On summer weekends he spent time camping in the mountains of VT. He instilled a desire to travel and discover new places and new things with his sons. He will be greatly missed by many. Family members include his wife of 55 years, Joanne (Dudley) Valley; five sons, Thomas and his wife Annette of Petersburg, WV, Brian and his wife Gigi of Middlebury, Jeff and his wife Pat of Middlebury, Bill of Shoreham and Peter and his wife Kate of St. Johnsbury, Newfoundland; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, a sister, and one grandchild. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 PM Thursday, July 20, 2006 at the Shoreham Congregational Church with Rev.
