Clifford E. Ryea Jr., 84, died Wednesday March 28, 2012 at Helen Porter Health Care and Rehabilitation Center after an accidental fall on December 11, 2011 with his family by his side. Born July 16, 1927 in Lincoln, N.J., he was the son of the late Clifford and Edith (Lockwood) Ryea Sr. Clifford loved to play music on his harmonica, guitar and mandolin; he also enjoyed camping, blue grass music and had a great love for animals. In his early years Clifford worked for B.F. Goodrich in New Hampshire and moved to Vermont in 1953 working at Duttons sawmill, in his later years he became a carpenter for several large companies and became a foreman for Mike Quesnel retiring in 1990. Survivors include his children, Priscilla Pritchard and her husband David, of Underhill, VT, Sandra Felion and her husband Richard, of Milton, IL, and Clifford E. Ryea III and his companion Patricia Casey, of Leicester, VT, by his sister, Margarett Barrett, of Florida, by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also by his companion Leola Bennett. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Grace B. (Marcou) Ryea who he married January 27, 1945 in Windsor, VT; she predeceased him in December of 1993. There will be no services per Cliffords wishes.
