Charlotte C. Knight passed away peacefully at home in Cornwall, Vermont, on March 18, 2026 at the

age of 93, with her family by her side.

"Chuckie" to her family, Charlotte was born in Pontiac, Michigan on June 14, 1932 to Susan and

Richard Coffin, the second of four daughters. The family later moved to Roslyn, New York, where

Charlotte grew up and graduated high school. After attending college at Michigan State, Charlotte

moved to New Jersey, married her first husband and had her only child. She worked many years at

Schering-Plough in Kenilworth, New Jersey.

She married her second husband, Ber Knight, and they both retired and moved to Moab, Utah in 1983.

There they became fixtures in the four-wheel-drive community, exploring many miles of backcountry

roads in their beloved red rocks country. She was a long time member of the Moab area Red Rock 4

Wheelers and Moab Friends For Wheelin', and volunteered many hours for the annual Easter Jeep

Safari and Labor Day Safari.

She is survived by her son David Guertin, three stepchildren: Judi Major, Mary Greening, and Carl

Knight, four grandchildren, and sister Lyn Coffin. She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years,

Ber Knight, and sisters Ginny and Gale.

It was Charlotte's wish that no memorial service be held. Condolences may be sent to
