CHARLES ANDY BAUMGARTNER, SR. EAST MIDDLEBURY-Charles Andy Baumgartner,Sr., 69, died Monday, August 18, 2014 at Mountain View Center, Rutland. Born in Plymouth, MA March 20, 1945, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Dorothy (Haley) Baumgartner. Andy was a truck driver employed by S. D. Ireland, Inc. prior to his retirement. He also had worked for Champlain Construction previously. He had lived here since 1981, coming from Plymouth, MA. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving family members include his wife, Nancy (Grant) Baumgartner of East Middlebury; three sons, Peter Baumgartner of Warmouth, MA, Charles Baumgartner, Jr. of Boston, MA, Dana Baumgartner of SC.; his adopted daughter/granddaughter, Kylie Scheck of East Middlebury, one daughter, Lori Baumgartner of Boston, MA ; 2 grandchildren, five step grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was predeceased by a sister, Marsha Burni. The family will gather at his home Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 2-4 PM for a time of remembrance.
