Middlebury, VT Mrs. Catherine Trombley Mrs. Catherine Trombley, 76, died Tuesday morning December 6, 2005 at Porter Medical Center. She was born September 16, 1929 in Middlebury the daughter of the late Robert & Margaret (Blair) Newton. She attended local schools. Catherine was a member of the East Middlebury Fire District Auxiliary. She was employed for many years with the East Middlebury Head Start Program and later worked over twenty years at the state police barracks in Middlebury in the janitorial dept. She then worked as a housekeeper in local homes. She enjoyed cooking, making doughnuts, and fudge, and loved gardening. She especially loved roses. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and will be greatly missed and remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her five children, Mr. Steve Trombley & his companion Nicki Buyer of Hancock, Mrs. Debbie Cram & her husband Gary, of Crown Point, NY, Mrs. Susan Lussier & her husband Frank, of Marathon, NY, Mr. Jerry Trombley & his Fianc Cynthia Provencher, of Shoreham, Mrs. Lori Piper & her husband Randy, of Leicester, her twelve grandchildren, her nine great grandchildren, with two more on the way., her sister Mrs. Sandra Hayes, of Middlebury, her bother, Mr. Richard Newton, Of Phoenix, AZ, and also by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a grandson and a step grandson. A memorial service will be held on Friday December 9, 2005 at 11 AM at the East Middlebury Methodist Church. The Rev. Jill Robinson, Pastor, will officiate. Visiting hours will be on Thursday December 8, 2005 from 4 PM to 6 PM at Sanderson Funeral Home.
