Catherine Ann Riccetelli, known affectionately as Cassie, spread her glittery golden wings on June 8, 2024, at the age of 78. Born on March 5, 1946, in Burlington, VT, Cassie was the cherished daughter of Pasquel and Florence Riccetelli. She was preceded in death by her siblings Peggy, Barbara, Annette, and Pasquel.

Cassie is survived by her beloved life partner, David. Cassie and David shared five decades of joy and laughter together. Cassie cherished all of her adventures with David, and spending time with him was her top priority. Also survived by Cassie are her nieces and nephews. Cassie had a great love for her family and often talked about them. She cherished the time she spent with her adoring niece, Shelly. Cassie and Shelly shared a close, loving relationship, always sending cards, pictures, and phone calls, and going on adventures when Shelly was in town. Lastly, Cassie leaves behind her support staff, who love and miss her dearly. Cassie spent many decades of her life surrounded by staff who truly enriched her life with their love and dedication.

Cassie was sharp as a tack, fiercely independent, and had an unwavering determination to speak her mind. She lived her life to the fullest, deeply connected to countless people and her community. Over the decades, she shared innumerable adventures with those around her. Her adventurous spirit led her on many trips with her staff and friends to Lake George, Plattsburgh, and even zoos. Cassie's heart was big and generous, particularly in her love for animals, especially cats. Always ready to celebrate any occasion with staff, housemates, family, and friends, Cassie was truly unforgettable.

Cassie brought immense joy to her community, friends, family, and loved ones, who are forever grateful for the time they shared with her. Cassie, we love you and will always keep an eye out for you somewhere over the rainbow.
