Mrs. Catherine A. Miller, 55, died early Tuesday morning October 23, 2007 at her residence after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born August 10, 1952 in Plattsburg, NY the daughter of Hubert & Mable (Labombard) Patno. Catherine enjoyed knitting, camping, fishing, collecting Indian artifacts and spending time with her grandchildren, Christmas was her favorite season of the year. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Miller of Bristol, her mother, Mabel Duchaine of Essex Jct., her daughters; Cathy Miller & her husband Robert, of Ripton, Kimberly Harnois & her husband Steve, of Essex Jct., her sons; Duane currently serving with the United States Army in Afghanistan, and his wife Melissa, of St. Albans, Michael Tardy, of Bristol, by her brothers; John Patnode, of CT & Raymond Desorcie, of Essex Jct.; by her ten grandchildren with the eleventh due shortly, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father and her sister, Joanne Patnode. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday October 27, 2007 from 4-6 pm at Sanderson Funeral Service, 117 South Main St. in Middlebury. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Sunday October 28, 2007 at 1 pm at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Bristol. The Rev Skip Baltz celebrant.
