Casey E. Freeguard 31, died Monday evening November 10, 2014 at Fletcher Allen Healthcare in Burlington after a brief illness. Born January 31, 1983 in Middlebury, he was the son of Gary E. and Lori L. (Fagga) Freeguard. Casey was a graduate of Otter Valley High School class of 2001. He was self employed in the concrete construction field operating Casey Freeguard Concrete. He enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheeling, hunting, gardening and spending time with his daughter. Casey is survived by his parents Gary and Lori Freeguard of Whiting, his daughter Sophia Freeguard of Whiting, a brother, Travis Manning and his wife Danielle and their daughter Cameron Manning all of Bristol; his paternal grandparents James and Beverly Freeguard of Whiting; his maternal grandparents Leo and Arlene Fagga of Bristol, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends. Visiting hours will be held on Friday November 14, 2014 from 5-7 P.M. at the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home, 117 South Main Street, Middlebury. A graveside service will be held on Saturday November 15, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. in Whiting Cemetery with the Rev. Brett Cody pastor of the Whiting Community Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home.
