Calvin C. Hawkins 85, died early Tuesday Morning October 23, 2018 at his residence. He was born August 24, 1933 in Burlington the son of Chester and Dorothy Hawkins Calvin attended local schools in Ferrisburgh. He was a self-employed farmer for many years and later owned and operated Hawkins Well Drillings. He married Dolores Warner November 27, 1988 in Middlebury. Calvin was a member of Dorchester Lodge # 1 F & A.M. of Vergennes. Together with his wife they enjoyed traveling and riding their motorcycle. He is survived by his wife Dolores Hawkins of Ferrisburgh, by his son Scott Hawkins, by his brothers, Tim House, Ronald House and Dale Tripp. By his step son Henry Bach Jr., by his step daughters, Theresa Berkeley and husband John, Michelle Bach and Tina Bach. Also, by his grandson Alan Laberge, by his step grandchildren Shannon Berry, Emily Berkeley. Graveside services will be held on Saturday November 3, 2018 at 11:00 at Gauge Cemetery in Ferrisburgh. Arrangements are under the direction of the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home.
