Beverly Ann (Longley) Norton, 77, passed away Tuesday May 19, 2015, with her family by her side. She was born July 5, 1937 in Burlington, VT, the daughter of Clifton and Elizabeth (Emery) Longley. On June 26, 1954, she married Carl Norton. Beverly was a caring woman who always loved spending time with her family, instilling a strong sense of family values. She was hard working and dedicated in many ways. Throughout the years, she served the town of Bridport in many different capacities; Town Clerk, Treasurer and Dispatcher. She is survived by her husband, Carl, her four daughters and their husbands, Debbie and Paul Many, Diane and Mike Many, Dawn and Todd Reed, and DeeDee and Larry Fleming. Seven grandsons, two granddaughters and twelve great grandchildren. Also, one sister, three brothers and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 11AM at the Bridport Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bridport Fire Department at P.O.
