Beverly Smith Baker, age 66, passed away on May 23, 2008 at her home after a brief struggle with Cancer.
Beverly was born and schooled in St. Johnsbury, VT, the daughter of W. Lowell Smith and Alyce Hamel Smith. She traveled and lived in California before settling in New Haven in 1973 th raise a family.
Beverly worked at Helen Porter Health & Rehab from 1988 until her recent retirement. She worked for many years in Orthodontics prior to that.
She is survived by a son, Aaron R. Baker, of New Haven, and a daughter, Jessica B. Baker, of Skagway, AK. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jerilyn M. Baker, and a sister, Pamela S. Parlette. She has a niece and nephew, Alicia and Matthew Parlette, of Roseville, CA, and many cousins scattered throughout the U.S.
There will be a celebration of her life between 1:00pm and 5:00pm Friday May 30th at 62 Belden Falls Rd. in New Haven. Words of remembrance will begin at 2:00pm led by Minister David Wood. Food will be provided by the family.
