BEATRICE PALMER
BRISTOL- Beatrice B. Palmer, 93, of North St., formerly of Cider Mill Rd., Cornwall, died Monday, July 3, 2006 at her home following a period of failing health.
Born in Goshen, December 3, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Lillian (Pratt) Donah.
Mrs. Palmer and her husband, the late Henry D. Palmer who died December 13, 1998, owned and operated Palmers Service Station and a lawn mower repair service for many years in Middlebury.
Prior to moving to Bristol five years ago, she resided for many years in Cornwall.
She was a past member of the Cornwall Grange.
Family members include one daughter, Elaine P. Wood and her husband Jack L. Wood of North Port, FL; three grandsons, Christopher J. Wood and his wife Melvina of Escondido, CA, Brian C. Wood and his wife Jennifer of Denver, CO and Gary E. Wood and his wife Jeanine of Congers, NY; four great grandchildren, Alexandra Wood of Denver, CO, Cameron Wood and Evan Wood of Congers, NY and Jackson Wood of Escondido, CA. .
Mrs Palmer was predeceased by a brother, Carlton Donah.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Thursday at Sanderson Funeral Home, 117 South Main St., Middlebury. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Friday with the Rev. Joan O Gorman, pastor of Cornwall Congregational Church officiating. Burial will follow in Cornwall Central Cemetery.
