Audrey Frances (Stearns) Jabri 79, died early Tuesday morning April 21, 2015 at her residence in Stamford CT Born May 17, 1935 in Rutland, VT, she was the daughter of the late Calvin Harold Stearns and Georgina Ethel (Taylor) Stearns. She attended Middlebury Grammar School, Middlebury High School and attended the University of Vermont She was a very active member of her community in Ossining, NY where she had lived previous to moving to Stamford. She enjoyed line dancing, traveling and participating in the towns community center. Her greatest joys was spending time with her children and grandchildren, and traveling to Africa, which was a lifelong dream of hers. She is survived by her children, Nadia Jabri of Montclair, NJ, Dina Murphy and husband of Riverside, CT, Ziad Jabri and wife of Springfield, NJ and Rania Jabri of White Plains, NY, by her 5 grandchildren and her sister Barbara Mae (Stearns) Robertson. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Blanche Mabel (Stearns) Wiseman In lieu of flowers donations can be made in the name of Audrey Jabri to the Alzheimers Association at National Office 255 N. Michigan Ave., FL 17, Chicago, IL 60601. Funeral services will be held at the Middlebury Congregational Church on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 10AM with Rev. Andrew Nagy-Benson officiating.
