Obituary

Anne Marie Rheaume, 91, died Monday morning May 14, 2007 at the Addison House in Middlebury. She was born April 20, 1916 in Ottawa Canada the daughter of the late Joseph P. & Claire (Martin) Denis. Anne was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and the Catholic Daughters of America. Anne was a seamstress in the area, and also made wedding cakes for many people in the Middlebury area. Anne gave many years and time helping her husband in the Knights of Columbus, and many many hours devoted to the work of the Catholic Daughters. She is survived by her three daughters, Bernadette White, of Uncasville, CT, Lucille Rouse, of Brandon, Anita McDermott, of North Kingston, RI, by her three sons, Ray Rheaume, of Leicester, Maurice Rheaume, of Middlebury, Robert Rheaume, of Stratford, NH, by her two sisters, Rollande Cote, of Thompsonville, CT, Claire Crocker, of Washington, by her brother, Jules Denis, of Rutland, by her 16 grandchildren, and her 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Marcel Rheaume who died August 23, 1991, by her daughter Marguerite Rheaume, her sisters, Laurette LaBrake, Yvette Quenneville, by her brothers Paul Denis, Alex Denis, Louis Denis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday May 18, 2007 at 11 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church the Rev. Justin Baker will officiate. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday May 17,2007, from 6-8 PM at Sanderson Funeral Service, 117 South Main Street Middlebury. Arrangements are under the direction of Sanderson Funeral Service.
