Angelo Ciufo 84, died peacefully at Fletcher Allen Hospital on May 15, 2008 with is family at his side. He was born on June 2, 1923 in Tufo, Italy, the son of John and Amelia Ciufo. Angelo immigrated, with his family, to the United States in 1935. Angelo was a very proud US Army Veteran of World War II. Angelo is survived by his wife, Angelina Emilo Ciufo, children Judy Adams and her husband, Walter of Essex; son Mark Ciufo of Winooski; grandchildren, Katelyn Adams Olson of Hinesburg and Kyle Adams of Denver, CO. He leaves his brothers Victor of Gerogia and Salvatore of Ludlow, VT and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Tony and sister, Rita. Visiting hours will be at Sanderson Funeral Home Friday, 117 South Main Street Middlebury, May 16, 2008 from 4 to 6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 17t , 2008 at 9 AM at St. Marys Catholic Church Middlebury with the Rev. Justin Baker , Pastor, officiating.
