Obituary

Mr. Andrew L. Tremblay, 83, died Sunday morning, August 6, 2006 at his residence after a long illness. He was born July 1, 1923 in Three Rivers, Quebec, the son of the late Eugene & Genevieve (Rondeau) Tremblay. Andrew became a U.S. Citizen as a young man to be able to join the armed forces, serving in WWII, being honorably discharged in 1945. Andrew owned and operated a farm in Bridport, VT. He completed Orange County Dairy School on November 18, 1958. He married his wife Myrna Bessette, and they lived in Bridport until they moved to Florida, returning back to Vermont in 1959. He is survived by his children, Andrew J. Tremblay, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Douglas A. Tremblay of Huntsville, Alabama, Lucinda D. Orleans & her husband Brian of Orwell, Dianne M. Warren & her husband Robert of Shoreham, Joanne C. Paige & her husband Peter of Orwell, Marrianne H. Mooney & her husband Raymond of Shoreham; his sister Mrs. Arthur (Loretta) Benoit of Williston; his brother Roland Tremblay of Los Lunas, New Mexico; his six grandchildren and his seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Myrna on December 31, 1998, his grandson, Robert G. Warren and also by his six brothers, Raoul, Rene, Paul, George, John and Albert Tremblay. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 from 6pm to 9pm at Sanderson Funeral Service in Middlebury. Per Andrews request, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shoreham First Response @297 Main Street, Shoreham, VT 05770 or to the Addison County Home Health & Hospice @ P.O. Box 754, Middlebury, VT 05753. Arrangements are under the direction of Sanderson Funeral Service.
